Quality Manager

General Responsibilities
•Supervise and ensure the quality of coating as applied by MPT meet technical requirements as per the terms and conditions of contractual agreements
•Maintain required quality accreditation (Nadcap)
•Responsible for the supervision of the MPT coating operation to ensure that all work is carried our according to the Technical Plan and Quality Management Procedures
•Responsible to ensure that all paperwork and records meet QA and Customer contract requirements.
•Responsible to ensure lot traceability of airfoils for each batch processed
•Report, track and follow-up on inspection and audit findings
•Assist in problem solving for production or quality problems
•Conduct internal audits and update procedures as required
•Perform other related duties as assigned

Supervisory Duties
•Responsible for all inspection, laboratory technicians

Qualifications
•University degree or technology college diploma required
•Professional designation an asset
•Four years experience in a quality controlled production environment
•Experience working in a quality assurance regulated environment required (Aerospace or ISO 9000 experience preferred)
•Ability to operate a computer is required
•High attention to detail and quality required
•Good communications skills
•Coating or metallurgical experience an asset
•Aerospace manufacturing experience an asset
•Supervisory experience preferred.
